Eva Live Forms Cybersecurity Task Force to Pursue AI Defense Acquisitions

LAS VEGAS — The artificial intelligence boom has a security problem, and one company is betting that the solution lies in buying up the firms that can fix it. Eva Live Inc. announced Friday it is forming an internal cybersecurity task force under its subsidiary, Eva Defense Inc. The unit is charged with identifying acquisition targets and partnership opportunities in AI-driven digital defense. This is not a committee.

It is a hunting party. The task force has a clear mandate: find companies building AI threat detection, automated incident response, network and cloud security, identity protection, and intelligent security operations.

Then move fast. The company believes the AI race will be decided on cybersecurity turf, and it intends to own the ground. This move follows the launch of Eva Defense earlier this month.

That subsidiary was initially positioned across drone, autonomous systems, and defense technologies. Now cybersecurity has been pulled to the front of the line.

The message is unmistakable — the company sees security as the bottleneck for the entire AI industry. The logic is brutal and straightforward. Attackers are already weaponizing automation and AI.

They strike faster and harder than traditional defenses can handle. The security blind spots left by current solutions are widening. Eva Defense is betting that the companies building the next generation of digital shields are too small to scale alone and too valuable to ignore.

Management has described the task force as built to meet the real, urgent needs of the industry. That language matters.

It suggests the company believes existing cybersecurity products are not just inadequate — they are obsolete. The rules of the game have changed, and the old playbooks do not work. What this means in practical terms is that Eva Defense is now in the market as an aggressive acquirer.

The internal task force will evaluate proprietary technologies and identify high-value targets. The timeline is short.

The company has signaled it wants to move quickly on both acquisitions and partnerships. The broader context is worth noting. The AI industry is expanding faster than its own security infrastructure can keep up.

Every new large language model, every autonomous system, every connected device creates a new attack surface. The companies building these tools often prioritize speed over safety. That leaves gaps.

Eva Defense is positioning itself to fill those gaps by buying the technology outright rather than building it from scratch. There is risk in this approach.

Acquisitions are notoriously difficult to integrate. Buying a startup with a promising AI security tool does not guarantee the tool will survive inside a larger corporate structure. But the alternative — waiting for organic development — may be too slow.

The attackers are not waiting. For now, the company is all-in.

The task force is formed. The targets are being identified. Eva Defense has declared cybersecurity its primary battleground.

Whether the strategy pays off will depend on execution, but the direction is set. The AI race is on, and Eva Live is betting that the winner will be the one who secures the field first.
